#travelgoals2020 a lookback to our Cambodia tour last February. We were nearing the last leg of our vacation as this was already in Sihanoukville. Last time I shared about our night bus tour. This time around we were picked up by our service and taken to our hotel accommodation.

What we found strange about Sihanoukville was all the road construction going on. Perhaps when the roads are ready, it would be a better place. Anyway, our hotel was located so far from the center. It seemed so secluded, plus also seemed so empty of other visitors. Perhaps it was because this was the time when China was on lockdown and its citizens weren’t allowed to travel then. Otherwise, Sihanoukville would be bustling with Chinese tourists.

We got to our hotel and got to change and freshen up a bit. Then we were off to our island tour. Funny, it’s a good thing I got a bit hungry and so my daughter and I had a hearty breakfast at Yasmin Cafe near the dock. This turned out to be the best decision I made that morning as it almost spiralled down from here on. I’ll share more about the supposed three-island tour that got cancelled at the last minute. Oh boy! Don’t worry as it eventually turned out ok.
