This actually reminds me of that familiar line, “Let’s pause for some commercial break.” Well, it is. It’s a break from regular topic ‘coz I’m testing my TwitterFeed account and the revisions I recently made there. I just want to make sure it is working just fine.

So what’s TwitterFeed? Well TwitterFeed enables me to auto post my latest blog post to my Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn accounts. It really is awesome, but sometimes fails to work esp. when I don’t get to post too often. So I do some tweaking to set it running again. Thus, this post. ๐Ÿ˜›

Tip #41 — Use Contrasting Prices

Present a comparison of your prices versus another service or product provider. For example, you are selling a strategy to relieve stress, compare the cost of your information product to a doctor’s consultation fee. I’m pretty sure yours will be cheaper. This strategy is effectively used in a number of marketing programs online and offline.


Most people are cost conscious. If they see the value of your product or service, they are more likely to make a purchase.


Tip #42 — Give People a Reason To Trust You

Tell your story. Tell a true and compelling story. You will need to let people know that they can trust you. In fact, integrity is and must be a part of your whole being. It’s in all that you do and all that you are. In marketing online, I’ve learned that people tend to follow people. Relationship building is truly important. If you have a number of people who trust your judgment, the more important it is for you to be particular about the programs or products you endorse.

Tip #40 — Focus On Their Emotions


It has been proven that many people make their purchases based on their emotions. This is one reason why niches based on hobbies, relationships. self-help and self-improvement are so easy to make money in.


Try to step in your customer’s shoes and see what their emotions are and address that in showcasing your product.ย  Hitting those emotional buttons can often make people purchase quickly. So incorporate honest and real emotions into your emails.

Tip #38 — Use Reciprocity


It is important that you build a good working relationship with your list. The reason isย  quite simple. If you do something nice for people, it is natural that they want to reciprocate and do something nice for you too.


Give people in your list a gift, and they may feel a sense of obligation to purchase from you.


Tip #39 — Offer Social Proof


Sometimes people don’t want to jump in and buy an offer right away. Offering social proof is an amazing way to boost your sales.


You can add social proof in the following ways :


* Include actual figures when talking about results.


* Include case studies or add before and after photos or videos.


* Include some testimonials from people who have purchased and used your product.


Seeing proofs that other people have purchased and enjoyed the product will increase the likelihood that they will buy it too.

Tip #37 : Give a Reason


This part is interesting. In this second tip for the Advanced Copywriting Techniques, it says that when you give people a reason why they should avail of your product or service, they are more likely to respond. It doesn’t even matter whether the reason to purchase is a good one or not as long as there is one.


Keep this tip in mind when you’re writing down your promotion. Or even include it on your splash or squeeze page.

Part VII — Advanced Copywriting Techniques


If you’ve followed this series, in the previous sections, I’ve written about list building basics, including do’s and don’t’s, creating autoresponder messages, building relationships, and making money with your list.


This part will have seven sub-sections on advanced copywriting techniques. These are time-proven methods that can help increase your profits substantially. Use them ethically and responsibly.


Tip #36 : Create Scarcity


If you’ve been in online marketing for some time, I’m sure you’ve encountered this in a few or most programs. Creating scarcity is one of the ways to make money as quickly as possible. Some examples include limited OTOs (one–time offers), limited exclusive offers, etc.


The principle behind this is to encourage people to upgrade or purchase right away so they won’t be missing out.


You can also:


* allow only a certain number of products to be sold.


* (for affiliates) limit the number of bonuses included in the offer.


* offer a product at a very low price at the onset, with prices increasing at some point in the near future.


Note : Be truthful when presenting scarce offers, or it can make you look dishonest which is something to avoid.

Tip #35 — Don’t Be Afraid To Change Out Products Over Time


Well setting up an autoresponder series does take time. It is very tempting to just “set and forget” offers. However, it’s still advisable to keep your offers updated. Some affiliate offers may or may not convert so well. You naturally want to keep the converting products and add value to them, while getting rid of non-converting products would often be the best advice.


You can also have polls or feedback surveys as to what your list members need. And then you can develop products along those lines. It sure is handy if you can write your own codes. LOL ๐Ÿ˜€ Otherwise there are lots of services you can avail of in order to do the programming for you.
