I’m not the type of person who talks much about what I’ve accomplished or done.  It’s not that I find it to be something kinda like bragging. It’s just who I am I suppose. I’m usually just quietly work on things and accomplish tasks. Most of the time, I’m pretty much self motivated. This I guess is the reason why I also want to try working for myself. Anyway, since another weekend is coming to an end, I just think it’s fitting to end it with some good news.

In my last post, I mentioned about attending TE Therapy on a regular basis. It’s held daily (Sun. – Sat. 11AM EST). Well, we just finished our “Geek Week” where we learned some more stuff about more WP plug-ins, installing and using BlogGlue, using Gimp, making a promo lead capture page with a thank you page and a confirmation page. I must say that this week has been truly productive for me. I once again felt like a student who is back in school and working on a project. This time around it’s a real project.

I know that I’m no expert nor guru. I just know I’m someone who likes what I do and likes to read and write. Coming up with an e-book is something I would like to do. I’ve been reading along quite a number of them and really liked that idea of having my own, even if it’s just a guide book for an established program. Well, I haven’t seen one about ClickTrackProfit and thought I’d like one, mainly as a guide to the sign-up process plus some additional information to guide newbies who are signing up. Let’s face it. There are some people who sign-up for a program without knowing how to use it. I know ‘coz I’m like that too sometimes. It would be great if someone could somehow guide them on how to make the program work.

I’ve made a video splash before for CTP. (Watch it here.) I just thought I’d come up with the guide book just so it’s going to be a different campaign this time around. I’m glad to have friends around to motivate me and guide me along the way. (Thank you Brenda, Ted, Wes, and Ron.) So how did I do it? Time management. The task would seem huge at the onset. But I broke it down into smaller tasks, working on a few pages every day for four days, at least, allowing time for some revisions. The toughest part was coming up with an e-book cover. 😀 I’m so happy to say I had a lot of help in this regard. (See Wes Wong’s video here.)

Well, to make the long story short, I’m not only earning but also learning in my online journey. And now, here is the outcome of my “Geek Week” project…….

PS. Thank you so much to Jon Olson for his invaluable feedback on my guide book as well as the lead capture page.

PSS.   Blain Jones is amazing! Upon reading my blog, here’s an amazingly improved e-book cover! 😀 Thank you Blain! 🙂
